David Trezeguet is attracting a flurry of interest from Serie A, with Fiorentina and Napoli the latest in a long list of clubs linked to a move for the Hercules striker, his agent has claimed.

The 33-year-old has enjoyed a good maiden season with the Alicante club in Spain, and his performances have not gone unnoticed in Italy, despite Hercules currently occupying bottom spot in the Primera Division.

"Fiorentina and Napoli are looking at him, and I would also say Roma too," his representative Antonio Caliendo told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Caliendo also refused to rule out a return to former club Juventus, adding: "We will have to see what happens. I can see some changes, but they are not an experimental club."

Parma striker Amauri believes he can head back to Juventus better and stronger following his loan deal at the Ennio Tardini.

The 30-year-old joined the Ducali in January after failing to gain regular action in Turin, but he is determined to head back and fight for his place next term.

"Juventus are always Juventus. Any player would like to wear that shirt, even me," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"I never made any drama, I came to Parma to find the serenity I needed. I want to play well and score."

The Brazilian-born attacker, who has been capped once by Italy, also stated his intention to attempt to return to the international fold, adding: "Obviously I also want to return to the national team. I was there once and it was incredible."

Italy Legend Marco Tardelli: Milan Remain Favourites For The Scudetto

Italy legend Marco Tardelli believes Milan are still the team to beat in the race for the Scudetto despite their recent dip in form.

The Rossoneri have seen Inter storm back into title contention and the champions are now only two points behind their city rivals at the summit.

Napoli are also in the thick of things, sitting three points further back in what is shaping up to be a race to the wire, however Tardelli thinks that Milan are still the favourites to lift the crown when all is said and done in Serie A.

"The advantage is two points, and Milan are always ahead of Inter while the Nerazzurri need to win the derby if they are to take the lead in the standings," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 1982 World Cup winner also believes that Milan's slip-ups to Bari and Palermo might serve to strengthen the spirit of the squad before the derby, saying: "Their recovery must come against Inter and cannot go wrong."

Milan will lock horns with Inter on April 2.

Claudio Ranieri: There Were No Issues With Roma's Francesco Totti

Former Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has dispelled suggestions that there was any problem between him and club captain Francesco Totti when the duo were working together in Rome.

Ranieri and Totti reportedly shared a fractured relationship at the Lupi in 2010-11 and didn't see eye to eye.

Ranieri eventually parted company with the 2001 Italian champions amidst reports of him having lost control of the dressing room, but the Italian now suggests otherwise.

“I hope he scores another 200 and can reach the few remaining players above him in the all-time scoring charts as soon as possible,” said Ranieri on the occasion of Totti scoring his 201st goal against Fiorentina at the weekend, according to Romagiallorossa.it.

“Francesco is a real champion, a professional, a lad with a heart of gold and he is Roma's captain.

Gianluigi Buffon Will Remain With Juventus – Agent

Some reports in the Italian media also suggested that Buffon could move to Juventus’ Italian rivals Roma, but his representative Silvano Martina has now dismissed all those rumours.
“Gigi to Roma? Nothing is true,” said Martina, according to Goal.com Italy. “There are people who wake up in the morning and start news which does not have any foundation. Even the questions they asked yesterday about the withdrawal from the national team has no reason.
“And what should Buffon do when he is asked for the 200th time whether he will remain in Turin or not? It is guaranteed that he will stay at Juve because he has two-and-a-half years left on his contract.”
